dir2ogg software package provides audio file converter into ogg-vorbis format, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dir2ogg
dir2ogg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dir2ogg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dir2ogg *
You will get with dir2ogg package name, version, architecture and description in a table
